Silver and Gold Coin & Silver Age Comic Book Auction Review – Realized Prices

The June 16th auction, held at Back to the Past Pop Culture Warehouse, was well attended, with nearly 200 bidders vying for the 413 lots crossing the block!  With the economic uncertainty surround Europe and the value of paper currency, it would appear that auction attendees are looking into silver and gold more than ever.

A few highlights:

Complete Franklin Half Dollar Book closed for $375.00.

Group of ten 1888-O Uncirculated Dollars closed for $350.00.

Complete Morgan Dollar Date Set (32 dollars in face value) $1,500.00

Walking Liberty Half Dollar Book Complete went for $1,200.00

Rare 1940 Proof set in Capitol Holder closed for $850.00

1835 Half Dollar sold for $420.00

1881-CC Dollar went for $470.00

1899 $20.00 gold piece closed for $1,950.00
